8 Ball BCA Rules

Rack your own (1 solid & 1 stripe outer 2 corners)

Player’s will decide to flip or lag. If they do not, then you will lag!

Alternating Breaks

Template racks are allowed

Cue ball fouls only!

Jump/Masse are allowed (if you damage the table, you are responsible for it)!

It is call your shot!

If you need a judge; grab a neutral third party to watch it. We can take video of the shot IF needed

If you do not call for a judge, prior to your opponent shooting, then it is the shooters final say on the shot

There are no timeouts or asking for help!

No sandbagging or throwing of games!

NO headphones/earbuds!!! BCA Rules do not allow them!

Match Time- We do not want to implement a shot clock BUT if we notice that your match is taking longer than most then we will first warn you, then we will implement a shot clock. If it is still an issue I will take it a step further. Let’s not let it get to that, please

When will I play my match? Hard to say, depends how fast the other matches go. So please stay close, monitor the brackets, & have your phones handy!

Calling of matches- You will have 5 minutes to report to the table or you will forfeit your match! We have a ton of players and games to play, so please be respectful to everyone and pay attention!

If you are unsure about something, ask either Arionna Miller or Kurt Burland SR as they are the ones calling the shots

Please read the BCA 8 Ball rules if you are not familiar with them

Finally let’s all have fun and be respectful to all the players, staff of Kwataqnuk, and the tournament director. There will be no tolerance for poor sportsmanship or players being rude/drunk! You will first be warned, then, if necessary, kicked from the tournament!
